Youth Education

The regular, ongoing curriculum at Unity of Martin County Youth Education is based in the teaching of the five core Unity Principles and Twelve Spiritual Powers.  It is a purposeful, playful and powerful experience that promotes fun, growth and joy.

Each class centers on a time of meditation so that children develop a constant and loving communication with God.

Children's Sunday Services

Currently, Sunday Services have three children's classes:  nursery for babies and toddlers, Unikids for children ages 5-10, and a combination of Unitweens and Uniteens for ages 11-15.  The Unity Teen Curriculum follows monthly thematic units. 

Camp Lumindorf
 
During the summer, Unity of Martin County hosts a metaphysical adventure camp called “Lumindorf” based on the Harry Potter series. The focus of camp is "discovering the light within" through games, challenges and creative activities.  The children learn the difference between being a wizard using their imagination and being awake to their spiritual gifts) and being a muggle (being spiritually asleep and afraid to be different or use their imagination.)  They are sorted into one of four houses and compete for the Lumindorf Cup.

Family Fun Day

On the Sunday before Labor Day Unity of Martin County community celebrates Family Fun Day when we enjoy outdoor games: water slides, a dunk tank, and lots of fun!; It is a wonderful - and wet - time of family and friendship.

Volunteers Welcome

We welcome volunteers with or without teaching experience who love children and are themselves authentic spiritual seekers. Training and supplies are provided, and the reward is priceless!
